Napoleon Rumteen is Vice President of Sales for automotiveMastermind (Mastermind). Rumteen joined Mastermind in November 2015 and is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the automotive industry by adding new brands, dealer groups, and individual retail stores to automotiveMastermind's dealer partner mix. Rumteen brings nearly 25 years of automotive sales and service experience to his role at Mastermind. He founded CarMind in 2007 (now part of DealerSocket), an online video training platform that identified best practices nationwide for automotive dealers and brought them to life with high-quality video production to simulate daily operations.
He's written more than 600 sales training courses and applied his knowledge of film-production during his time with CarMind. Rumteen spent 16 years in automotive retail, mostly in management. As General Manager of Business Development for Rusnak Auto Group in Southern California, he helped the company's digital sales, service, marketing and business development center. He spent eight years with Mercedes-Benz, including his role as General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Valencia. In addition to his automotive SaaS (software as a service) experience, Rumteen was involved in other technology verticals. He produced various choose-your-own-adventure mobile applications specific to gaming, entertainment, training and education. He holds a U.S. patent on an algorithm-based, mobile device video decision tree. A California State University-Northridge Los Angeles alumnus, Rumteen works out of Mastermind's New York City headquarters.
