We Asked Dealership Executives What Their
Biggest Takeaway From #DSES2017 Was.
Here's What They Said.

The DrivingSales Executive Summit 2017 is the automotive industry's best conference, and this year's event was no exception. Hundreds of dealership executives just like you descended on The Bellagio in Las Vegas to learn what's new, what's hot and what's working right now in dealership marketing, management and more.

The 2018 DSES conference is still in the planning stages, and promises to deliver even more tactical strategies to implement from others who are in the trenches and delivering big wins at their dealerships across the country.

Here's what this year's attendees had to say:

#1 takeaway that I will continue to pursue throughout 2018 is how to transition and blend teams that better enable ‘Millennials’ to succeed. It’s an interesting time to recruit and train teams. There is a huge need to ensure that employees are being developed and given opportunities to progress within their roles. This simply motivates me to think through the strategies that we have in place here at the Young Automotive Group. It’s all about employee retention and growth.

I’m always impressed with the way you guys weave together the speaker content into a unified theme. It starts with Jared’s thoughtful keynote to kick off the two days, but I love the way you build foundationally on top of that with your carefully selected speakers. I’m always impressed and come away with many new ideas that I can implement in my business. Please keep up the great work. I’m a huge fan.

The move towards mobile first website is more important than ever as Google prepares for mobile first indexing. People don’t buy from people anymore. They buy from process assisted by people. Website UX – make them so easy to navigate (kid test them). Make better use of Facebook Hypertargeting.
